Is BCTM a CRM?
Yes, a CRM for trade and field-service businesses. It keeps customer records and links each one to their estimates, jobs, invoices, payments and message threads.
It is not a sales CRM: there are no deal stages, lead scoring or marketing email campaigns. If you need a sales pipeline, BCTM is the wrong tool for that part of the business.
How much does the BCTM CRM cost?
$0/mo — no subscription and no per-user seats. The customer records, estimates, jobs and invoices are included at no monthly charge.
BCTM earns money when your customers pay you electronically: card payments cost 3.9% + $0.30 (1% BCTM platform fee + 2.9% + $0.30 Stripe) and ACH payments cost 1.8% (1% BCTM platform fee + 0.8% Stripe, Stripe portion capped at $5.00). Cash and check: no fees. See how the free contractor CRM pricing works.
Can my employees use it too?
Yes. Workers get their own logins with access to the jobs assigned to them, and there is no per-user charge for adding them.
Owners and office staff see customers, estimates, invoices and reports; workers see their assigned jobs, calendar and time entries.
Can I import my existing customer list?
Yes. Upload a CSV file of customers, and export your customer list to CSV at any time.
Does the BCTM CRM sync with QuickBooks?
No. BCTM does not sync with QuickBooks or Xero today.
If your bookkeeping depends on a live accounting sync, weigh that before switching. BCTM has its own payment ledger and reports, and data can be exported to CSV.
Which trades is it built for?
Service and project trades that quote, schedule and invoice customer work — plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, roofing, cleaning, painting, handyman, general contracting and more.
Each trade has its own page with trade-specific workflows, starting with software for plumbers, software for electricians and HVAC business software.
