Getting it paid

Recurring and progress billing

Maintenance customers can be billed weekly, monthly or quarterly on a recurring invoice schedule. Longer projects can be billed in milestones, with deposits credited along the way.

What invoicing costs

Sending an invoice costs nothing. When the customer pays electronically: card 3.9% + $0.30 (1% BCTM platform fee + 2.9% + $0.30 Stripe); ACH 1.8% (1% BCTM platform fee + 0.8% Stripe, Stripe portion capped at $5.00). Cash and check: no fees. You choose per invoice whether the customer covers the card fee (where surcharge rules allow) or you absorb it.

What BCTM does not do

Offline mode is for drafting only; collecting a payment needs a connection.
